The SC-LX77 integrates an ESS Technology Inc. SABRE 32bit Ultra DAC, the industry’s benchmark for audio digital-to-analogue conversion, to reproduce music with unsurpassed fidelity. With an Audio Scaler on board even regular CD quality content can be upscaled up to 192 kHz/32 bit to create a “high-resolution” experience. The receiver plays back DSD files, high-resolution AIFF, Apple Lossless, WAV and FLAC files for which gapless playback is supported as well.
A built-in ECO Mode lets you save energy without compromising on sound and video performance. Compatible (free) smartphone/tablet apps include the advanced remote control app iControlAV2013.
Use the ECO Mode to save energy. It analyses your sources in real time, adjusting power consumption accordingly to meet your needs, or you can choose the power-saving settings that are right for you. You can control ECO Mode using the receiver's front panel or the included remote control.
DLNA and AirPlay are widely supported on PCs, laptops, smartphones and other devices. As this receiver is DLNA and AirPlay certified, you can easily stream audio from such a device. Apple's AirPlay lets you stream music from your entire iTunes library.
In addition to MP3, WMA, AAC, FLAC and WAV music file playback from a networked computer or USB drive, you can now also enjoy playback of high-resolution AIFF and Apple Lossless files as well as gapless playback for AIFF, Apple Lossless, WAV and FLAC files.
iControlAV lets you modify all important receiver functions from your smartphone or tablet (iOS / Android). The 2013 version brings a new user interface and easy to navigate feature menu, as well as a dedicated “ECO MANAGER” page for energy efficient settings. PUSH PLAYER, Pioneer’s new music streaming setting, lets you access the music libraries stored on your device and create playlists that can be streamed wirelessly to the receiver, all from within the app.
